Under floor heating is a low temperature heating system, which produces the ideal room temperature at a much more efficient rate than standard systems. With under floor heating the maximum temperature required is 35degrees centigrade, as opposed to radiator systems which require between 50-70 degrees centigrade depending on the radiator material. Conventional radiators create convection heat where the heat rises from the radiator to the center point of the ceiling and then falls to the floor as the heat in the air is lost to the room, thus creating draughts at the floor level. The under floor heating system creates a very gentle air circulation from the ground which is the warmest, to above the floor where the warm air is most required, all around you.
